POSETS TOUR
Three refuges: Estós, Viadós and Ángel Orús; three valleys; three peaks: Forqueta (3,007 m), Chistau (2,794 m) and Agulle de Perramó (2,552 m).
This trekking, which we can also call Tour del Posets, spends three and a half days and will allow you to follow the original path, which linked the valleys of Estós, Eriste and Viadós, always under the watchful eye of the Posets, which with its 3,375m is the second highest peak in the Pyrenees mountain range.
An ‘affordable’ crossing (medium physical level) that will not leave you indifferent.
What do we offer you?
- This stage of the GR11 links the Estós and Chistau valleys. It passes through the Puert de Chistau, the Pleta de Añes Cruces, the Puyarueso spring and the Clot forest.
- Distance: 11.6 km
- Difference in altitude: 765 m+ and 925 m-
- Duration (with stops): 4h 55′.
- Crossing from the Biadós hut to the Ángel Orús hut, joining the valleys of Chistau and L'Aigüeta de Grist. It passes through the Forqueta pass, Ibón de Llardaneta.
- Distance: 13.2 km
- Difference in altitude: 1217 m+ 800m-
- Duration (with stops): 5h 40′.
- Crossing the Angel Orús and Estós huts under the Llardana massif, passing through the Collado de la Plana, the Gran Batisielles lake and the Batisielles lake.
- Distance: 13.1 km
- Difference in altitude: 800 m+ 1100m-
- Duration (with stops): 5h 40′.
