I am Ixeia, I was born in Huesca, and although my life sometimes has not been linked to the mountains I have always been close to them.

I discovered a new way of seeing the landscape that surrounds us and I decided that I wanted to observe the world from another perspective. I decided to study Geology, and I entered the world of research specializing in glaciers and climate change (past and present).

Rocks and glaciers aside, sport is something essential for me. Cross-country skiing is the sport that has always accompanied me, but I have also combined it with other sports such as athletics (triple jump) and trail (skyrunning, snowrunning and kv), participating in Spanish championships in all sports and in other international events such as the UTMB.

In the same way that I like to train I also like to share my knowledge and experience. I have been trained as a TD2 in Cross Country Skiing and TD1 in Athletics.
